FILM FESTIVAL PREMIERE

laurelsRIIFF_OFFICIAL2016 (4)

I’m thrilled to announce that “Blood, Sweat & Tears: A Basketball Exorcism” has been accepted into the Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival in Providence, RI, and will premiere on Friday, August 12th at 12:15PM in RISD’s Metcalf Theater. This is the same festival where my last film “Unknown Soldier: Searching For A Father” won Best Documentary back in 2003, and I’m incredibly honored to return to my Dad’s old stomping grounds for the world premiere of my new one. Thanks so much to the RIIFF for believing in the project, and link to the screening info below. Hope to see you there…

Sorry for the late reply, I kind of forgot about checking onto how you’re doing every once in a while.

I’m glad to hear this! After so much hard work it’s amazing to see you finally finish the film and send it off to festivals.

I don’t live in Rhode Island so it’s unlikely I’ll be able to visit but I’m still very excited to hear about this and I’m sure your film will amaze the audience like it amazed me.

Any idea on when the screening will take place? And another question, will there be a way to watch this film on DVD/on the internet? I’ve seen the trailer and it honestly looks interesting. Your filming style has definitely improved over the years…

    Congratulations, John!
